A Timely Walk through Bay City State Park Beach

BAY CITY, Mich., February 15, 2017 - A Saginaw Valley State University student internwants to copy any and all of your photos of the Bay City State Park Beach fromthe past up until the present. The intern student is assisting the Bay CountyEnvironmental Affairs and Community Development department on historicalresearch and will make a historical photo timeline of this landmark beachlocation. An interactive on-line map will be created from these photos and willallow viewers to see how the State Park beach has changed throughout time atthis amazing location that has been a major part of Bay City’s prosperity andhistory.

Any photos of the beachfront will be helpful and all photos will bereturned. It will be important to know the year the photo was taken, or a goodguess. Photos can be both digital copies (sent via email to mralfini@svsu.edu)and/or original photographs. Photographs with your name and contact informationcan also be dropped off or photocopied/scanned while you wait at the Bay CountyEnvironmental Affairs and Community Development department on the 5th floor ofthe Bay County Building, address 515 Center Ave., Bay City, Michigan 48708.
