The Bay County Veterans Affairs office is located on the second floor of the Bay County Building and provides information, referrals, and support services to honorably discharged, wartime veterans and their families. The Bay County Housing Department, also known as Center Ridge Arms, was built with funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Center Ridge Arms is a five-story apartment complex comprised of 100, one-bedroom units.
Billed as the "Gateway To The North", Pinconning Park and Campground is minutes east off of I-75, in northeastern Bay County. The park features miles of boardwalks and trails, a sandy beach with kayak rentals, observation towers and a boat launch for access to prime walleye fishing on the bay.
Bay County's dog park is located on the Bay County Fairgrounds, 800 Livingston Street, Bay City! The park was made possible through a $15,000 donation from the Humane Society of Bay County, and efforts of Bay County officials. It provides barrier-free recreation facilities for dog owners, is connected to the Bay County Rail Trail, and provides a playground for people to stop and play with their dogs.
