Bay County Division on Aging Mission:
Bay County Division on Aging is dedicated to providing continued opportunities for the community's older adults by maintaining independence, offering social opportunities, and enhancing their lives through quality services in a cost-effective manner.
Bay County Division on Aging provides a variety of services to assist individuals age 60 or older and who live in Bay County to remain independent, living at home for as long as possible. The programs are funded with local senior millage tax dollars, client contributions, state and federal grants, and N.S.I.P. reimbursement for meal programs. The following organizations provide these funds: Michigan Department of Community Health, Michigan Office of Services to the Aging, Region VII Area Agency on Aging (Grants and Waiver Division), A & D Home Health Care (Waiver Division) and Veterans Affairs Dept. Bay County Division on Aging complies with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.
Eligibility requirements exist for some programs. There are fees for some of the services and a suggested donation is requested for most programs.
